Surfing is so much more than just standing on a board.
To help you reach your goals, we ensure that all our surf instructors are certified and highly experienced. Whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced surfer, they are ready to teach you!
The surf lessons take place daily. We meet at our surf school in the morning but our schedule is flexible.
We want to make sure you get the best spot and the best conditions that the Sagres area has to offer on any given day.
As our lessons, very often, take place on the wild beaches of the Natural Park (PNSACV), don’t forget to bring a lunchbox, water and sun protection.

STUNNING BEACHES
In the Sagres area, we’re very lucky to have a wide range of stunning beaches to choose for our lessons, on both south and west coasts.
Every day we check the best forecast websites, combine all the information with local knowledge and the current surfing conditions in order to choose the right place to teach.
TECHNIQUE
Our lessons will provide you proper technique and general understanding in order to effectively improve your surfing skill.
International Surf School Sagres’s instructors will provide personalized feedback, breaking down techniques with clear demonstrations and exercises to help you improve - whether you're mastering the basics of the take-off or refining the perfect cutback.

EXPLORE
The Sagres area is an amazing part of the world blessed with a breathtaking coastline and Atlantic swells year around.
You will visit some of the most spectacular beaches and surroundings while searching for good surf.
Fantastic Time Surfing
The perfect surf school for people of all abilities and ages. Myself and my partner stayed in the surf camp and did a three day course and have already thought about plans to return next year for at least a 5 day course.
The teaching was excellent - the knowledge of the environment was so reassuring due to being mainly local instructors and they also made every lesson fun and enjoyable.
The equipment was top notch and the morale was 10/10.
Although there were cheaper options around, this was definitely worth the money in terms of equipment, getting the best surf (if the waves weren't up to standard in one place, we would move to another), quality of teaching, feeling welcome and knowing some 'secret surf spots' so you get to avoid the crowds!
