Surf Lessons Terms & Conditions
Class Bookings
Surf lessons are scheduled according to weather and ocean conditions to ensure the best possible experience and safety for all participants.
Attendance confirmation must be made at least one day before the lesson, no later than 4:00 PM. All bookings are subject to confirmation by the International Surf School team via email, WhatsApp, or phone call.
By making a booking with International Surf School, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Please note that exceptions cannot be made, as our programs operate with limited availability and carefully managed class sizes to maintain the highest quality standards.
Surf & Weather Conditions
In the rare event that International Surf School considers the surf or weather conditions unsuitable or unsafe, we will make every effort to reschedule the lesson.
If rescheduling is not possible, a credit voucher will be issued and may be used within one year from the date of the cancelled lesson. Voucher redemption is subject to availability and requires advance booking.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable but may be transferred to another recipient.
Participation, Safety & Liability
Surfing is an outdoor sport that involves inherent risks to both participants and property, even when supervised by qualified instructors and conducted in suitable conditions.
Health & Medical Conditions
Participants must inform International Surf School of any medical conditions, allergies, illnesses, injuries, or prescribed medication that may be relevant to their participation.
Minors
For participants under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign a liability and consent form. At least one parent or guardian must remain present on the beach during the lesson.
International Surf School accepts no responsibility for any issues arising from incomplete documentation or the absence of a parent or guardian.
Swimming Ability
All participants must be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres unless otherwise authorised by a senior instructor.
Participants must not attend lessons under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that may impair their physical or mental abilities.
Instructor Guidelines
All participants agree to follow the instructions and decisions of International Surf School instructors at all times.
Surf equipment is included in the lesson fee. Participants are responsible for reporting any damage or defects noticed while the equipment is in their possession.
Liability
International Surf School does not exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death resulting from its own negligence.
However, International Surf School shall not be held liable for personal injury, loss, damage, consequential loss, or third-party claims arising through no fault of the school, its employees, instructors, or representatives.
All other liabilities implied by law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted.
